Hello everyone. My name is Brian Dean and I am an English teacher in South Korea. I have created this web site to fullfill a number of purposes.
I am using Yahoo business hosting. Perhaps I should have gotten some sort of personal hosting plan instead but this will do for now.
To go to any particular part of the site just click one of the links at the left of this message.
Originally, I used site builder from Yahoo small business to create a web site but I found the HTML code to be too difficult to modify to my liking. Therefore, I have created this site using code which is much easier to modify. I am doing it the hard way. In other words, I am using EmEditor to modify the HTML directly. I have also downloaded some useful HTML and CSS snippets from various web sites. I really wish there was a good WYSIWYG editor for HTML that produces HTML that is easy to modify.
The GEPIK forum was getting too much spam, both from bots posting porn links, to various bots trying to sign up as users. I could do the work to keep that from happening, but the fact that nobody was using the GEPIK forum anyway made me feel that the only thing I would be doing with it would be deleting spam.
If anyone is interested in a GEPIK forum let me know and I will put one back up.
Elzoog is a character in a fictional story I have been working on called The Capiam Universe. I originally created the name using a random password generator that was on a VAX mainframe at Kent State University. The purpose of the program was to of course, create memorable passwords, but I found it to be more useful for creating good names. One of the strings it generated was Elzoog and I think it makes a great name.
My mailing address, if you can understand the Korean characters, is in the right column of the screen. Just copy, paste it, and print it. Be sure you include the Brian Dean and the South Korea lines and it should get to me. If you are having trouble reading the characters try changing the character encoding to unicode UTF-8. I am using unicode because it has more international support.
You can call me. If you are in Korea, dial 016-830-4180. If you are in the US you will need to take the zero away from the 016 and include the country code 82.
